Lake County STILL has no COIT!!!!

We did it! We beat back the county "option" income tax!

I'd say that there were 100 people at the meeting. It overflowed from the room.

Instead of changing to a larger room and letting everyone speak, they just tabled the vote on the tax. Bilski was going to flip back to "no", so rather than taking a vote and getting defeated, the "yea" side didn't even take up the vote.

The county building is closed this weekend and Monday, so no vote can be taken before the state imposed deadline of the 31st.

That's a big f.u. to Indy!
