So they're having a Senate committee meeting for a law that sets a township's "assistance rate" (what they spend on poor relief) to 2 times the state average (adjusted for the poverty rate). This will put a huge hit on Calumet Township, whose assistance rate is 4.5 times the state average.
A lawmaker makes a motion to increase that to 4.5 times, and the Calumet Township officials at the meeting object, and say they want the 2 times rate!
They obviously did not know what they were testifying against.

Yeah, see Buzzcut, isn't that great? And we have those bozos at the township in control of millions of dollars and they are clueless....Justice will finally be served for those of us in Griffith!!!
