Reading into Obama's statement on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, I think he is one of these people:
As we mark the 39th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we must remember that this Supreme Court decision not only protects a woman’s health and reproductive freedom, but also affirms a broader principle: that government should not intrude on private family matters. I remain committed to protecting a woman’s right to choose and this fundamental constitutional right. While this is a sensitive and often divisive issue- no matter what our views, we must stay united in our determination to prevent unintended pregnancies, support pregnant woman and mothers, reduce the need for abortion, encourage healthy relationships, and promote adoption. And as we remember this historic anniversary, we must also continue our efforts to ensure that our daughters have the same rights, freedoms, and opportunities as our sons to fulfill their dreams.
It is a crazy way of thinking. Perhaps we should endevor to ensure that BOTH our sons and daughters have enough respect for their bodies and souls so that they resist the temptation that results in the "need" for abortion?
And if, God forbid, your son or daughter is in that situation, what is so wrong about giving the baby up for adoption? Why is the only answer the most convenient one, killing the baby?

I think that it is interesting that this "Christian" man would support abortion. I wonder if the reason Liberals support abortion is because the majortity of adoptions are by Christian familys. Surely they wouldn't want Christians raising the their rejected children.
ok, Buzz if you had a daughter and she was raped? That wouldn't matter?
That's a strawman argument. So few abortions are due to rape that you can't even measure them.
As often as that "rape and incest" argument is invoked, you'd think that every third pregnant woman out there conceived in that fashion. Maybe in Hammond/Gary/East Chicago/Whiting....
The funny part is that every person who pulls that out of their bag of tricks think they are being totally original and have painted the opposition into some corner.
