Here's the problem with Northwest Indiana. Our intellectual betters, besides being supporters of the corrupt Democrat party, are a bunch of liberals.
What are their ideas for improving Northwest Indiana? Public transportation and a county income tax.
I really don't get Crown Point Mayor Uran. He drastically increased his city's costs by professonalizing and unionizing his firefighters. And now he needs to raise taxes to pay for it. Why not just go back to paid on call?
These people are pathetic liberals. Northwest Indiana just may grow despite them, being strategically located and with low taxes (and no public transportation!).
